Rita and three her siblings lost their mother over 15 years ago. The actress remembers her late mother’s birthday every year.
“Happy Birthday mom. Wish you were here. May you and daddy keep resting in peace. We miss you both so much,” the award-winning actress wrote on Instagram last year. Her mother used to be a nursing officer and her dad a medical doctor.
