Ighalo has scored seven goals so far in the 2015/2016 season, leading his team to 11th place on the log. The striker has also expressed his surprise at how well he has adapted to the Premier League after winning promotion to the top tier with Watford last season.
He said: “I’m a little bit surprised about it. There are great players doing well in this country, but for me coming from nowhere and being the leading scorer is a great thing.”
